Seven actors, musicians, sound-effect engineers and projectionists, make eight rolls from the first French feature-film western The Wild Witness(1919) come alive again, with its nine theatrical interludes shouting at spectators about the projection: ninety minutes of an entertaining, educational,burlesque and moving cinematic-theatre.
