Michel Risse and Ivorian writer Koffi Kwahulé will present Ezekiel and the Sounds of Shadow, an exclusive co-creation, in the official program of the 2017 Avignon Theater International Festival.
Ezekiel and the Sounds of Shadow tells the story of a little boy who plays hide-and-seek. Everytime, his mother and father go looking for him, worried-sick, until Ezekiel show up : a cruel game that the child imposes on his parents. But this time, despite the father’s threats and begging, Ezekiel is nowhere to be found.
Ezekiel and the Sounds of Shadow is part of the A-program of the “Sujets à Vifs” (by SACD), and is presented together with Incidence 1327 by Gaëlle Bourges & Gwendoline Robin.
Duration of the whole A-program (two shows) : 45 minutes.
